Ingredients: Pale ale, Munich malts; flaked oats; flaked wheat; orange, lemon and grapefruit zest; coriander; allspice; Sorachi ace hops; Wyeast 3942 yeast, water.
Witbier is a Belgian wheat ale traditionally brewed with spices. In this brew we used hand peeled orange, lemon and grapefruit zest, a bit of allspice and a decent amount of coriander seeds. A large percentage of malted and flaked wheat used in this beer makes it cloudy and straw like in colour. Belgian Witbier yeast adds some light banana flavours and lets the spices shine through.
