It smells like fruits because it’s made with fruits.
This beer is one more beast in our series of lactic sour ales. It’s special by being tart instead of really sour. It’s tartness develops as you drink it. It’s not in your face type. It reveals itself in the aftertaste where it gets mixed with Citra hops and real passion fruit that we used in the secondary fermentation.
Despite it’s shameful alcohol content this brew does not feel to watery or empty at all. We used loads of flaked oats and wheat in the mash and a tiny bit of lactose in our copper to compensate for the low abv. Dry hopped with Citra and real Colombian passion fruit.
Food pairing: aperitif.
