Ingredients: Pale ale, Crystal, Biscuit malts; Bramling Cross and East Kent Goldig hops; Wyeast 1968 ESB yeast; water.
English style bitter is something that you would definitely call a classic beer. This one was hopped with an old school British hops called Bramling cross and East Kent Goldings. Hints of wet soil, black currant and light citrus are obvious but not too overpowering.
Sticking to the purely traditional side we fermented it with the classic ESB yeast strain and this is where it gets it’s fruity character from.
We call it simple but not necessarily boring beer. And yeah – it goes well with traditional pub food and snacks.
Food pairing: pub food, grilled dishes, fish & chips.
