This is the first lager that we did on our commercial brew system. It comes as a second collaboration with one of the leading Vilnius restaurants Sofa de Pancho.
As the restaurant serves Mexican dishes we needed something that would be related to this distant foreign country. We already did porter with chipotle but this time we remembered this strange test brew form our days of homebrewing. This was a simple lager recipe where significant amount of grains (around 30 percent) was replaced with flaked corn. It’s sweetish flavour contributes to the crisp lightness of the brew and goes well with Green Bullet hops from New Zealand and Citra from States.
Food pairing: BBQ, grill dishes, chili con carne, pizza, burger, hot-dog. It’s lager – it goes with anything. Even lemon pie. We’re not joking!
