Have you ever heard that cheesy joke about beer being a liquid bread? This barley wine was brewed thinking about traditional rye bread loaf. A bit sweet, packing some honey notes, rye flour taste and caraway seeds on the nose. The malt base used for this beer is responsible for it’s dark colour, rye bread crust aroma and full body. The main ingredients that we relied on in the process – malted rye and toasted caraway seeds that we used in both boiling process and fermentation.
